Nature Notebook Teeny Tiny Book
By Elizajane aka Tiny House Journals
Nature Notebook has been one of my favorite collections since it was originally released when I created an adorable tiny inspirational book, which I gave away as a gift (and wished I had kept one for myself). Therefore, I was so excited when the Deluxe Collector’s Edition arrived, and I could make more of these fun little books and create a tutorial to help ours do the same.
Start by cutting two pieces of Graphic 45 chipboard to 3 1/8” x 3 1/8”. Then cut your Graphic 45 patterned papers (5), kraft cardstock (11), vintage dictionary pages (2), vellum (2) and miscellaneous notepaper (4) to 3” x 3” or smaller. Score all pages at ½” on the left side (this will create your book spine).
Cover the outside front and back cover with your choice of images from portions of ‘Beautiful World’. Cover the inside covers with your choice of Graphic 45 patterned papers that you’ve already cut out. Cut out remaining pieces from ‘Beautiful World’, as well. Fussy cut all pieces from ‘Diary of a Botanist’ and 3 pieces from ‘Seasonal Splendor”.
Ink papers if you desire. Adhere cut out pieces to each side of the kraft cardstock, leaving the ½” scored area free of any images. Arrange all pages in the order that you’re pleased with. Using a template, punch two 1/8” holes on the ½” scored area approximately ½” from the top and bottom. Now you are ready to begin binding your tiny inspirational book.
