Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta – Portugal

Graphic 45 2020-2021 Brand Ambassador

“Hello everyone,

Some of you already know me, and knows that this is my second year designing for Graphic 45, and I’m so very grateful for that and I will be for the rest of my life, this is an amazing opportunity and I will never forget this family, the designers and friends that I made, and so many awesome moments together, I inspired and was inspired, so I’m ready for one more year of adventures!!

So let’s start… my name is Teresa Cruz, also known from my blog “Andor Violeta”. I’m Portuguese and I have 34 years old, an amazing husband, two precious boys, my sons, and a home next to a hill and very few houses, so it’s a very quiet place. I am a kindergarten teacher but currently, I work with senior people. I love my job, but I also love so much to make scrapbook and mixed media projects, I need them in my life, my art projects are my therapy and now my part-time too. In this amazing world of art, I love to make many different things, mini albums, journals, upcycled projects (my favorites I think), tags, 3D projects, layouts, altered art, canvas… all with different scrapbooking and mixed media techniques, I just think I love to do a little bit of everything so I don’t get bored of doing the same kind of projects…

#G45Selfie – Tiny Set – Mini Album, Box & ATC’s with Garden Goddess

By Teresa Cruz aka Andor Violeta

And now that I told you a bit about myself, I will talk about my project. Last year I made an explosion box, because like people you never know what is inside, the surprises that you can find tells a bit about the person that made it!!

This time I made a tiny set because you can find beauty and joy in the little things!! And you can also be happy with those little things!! What do you think of my tiny set?

I made this tiny bookcase with Eillen Hull – Sizzix Scoardboard L Die – Tiny Bookcase

I had so much fun creating this mini album and bookcase!! And inside…. surprise…

….three tiny ATC’s

What a great way to show you my go-to techniques, and also to use the new amazing graphic 45 stamps and dies!! Oh my god, did you try them already?

Tip: if you want just a little bit of texture and colour in different tiny spots on your projects, just use your stamps with your hands without the acrylic blocks, (you can see this in my video tutorial).

You have it all covered with graphic 45 stamps: the lettering, the flowers, the diamond, …

but you also can use them for the spots that you want a perfect stamped image, decorative element, or sentiment!!

Finishing touches are also great, like dry brushing with gesso to highlight the details of your project. I also use some splatters!!

So follow me in this Youtube video tutorial, so you can make your Tiny set of art using whatever you have!!
