“Hi G45ers! It’s Kristine and today I have a video tutorial to share with you for the #G45Upcycle challenge. I love repurposing things that I am no longer using around my house, especially boxes. Today, I will show you how to transform an old wooden cigar box into a work of art using the new Wild & Free collection.

Cigar box or any other box you already have at home

Distress ink

Glue

Two small brads

4×6 piece of heavy weight chipboard or foam squares

The best thing about the upcycle challenge is you can use whatever you have at home! That might mean your box is a different size or shape than mine. Because of this, I don’t give any exact paper measurements in the tutorial so make sure you carefully measure your own box before cutting into those gorgeous Wild & Free papers!

In the video tutorial, I’ll show you how to shape and layer your fussy cut flowers and leaves to add dimension to the box lid.

The images on the lid are placed in a cluster but remain flat so the box closes all the way. In the video, I’ll show you how to layer the brass door knocker onto a piece of chipboard for your box front.

The brass claw feet are the last thing I attached to the box. I’ll show you what I used in the tutorial.
