Welcome to another fun-filled blog post. Today we have a frilly and fabulous Window Shadow Box starring our new collection Little Women (Now Available in Stores and Online) by the one and only, Pam Bray. Pam not only shares this beautiful home decor Window Frame with a secret journal, but she also has included step by step directions so you too can create your own shadow box masterpiece. So pull out your Graphic 45 papers and let's get started!

Do Something Special Shadow Box

“It is always so nice to do something special, don’t you think? Creating a home décor project is that something special I am sharing today. Taking time to create a home décor piece for your home or as a gift is just the thing to do.” Pam
Tip:
Add hidden books to projects to create interest.
Mist ribbon, wad up and clip until dry to make crinkled ribbon.
Wrap small wooded spools with pattern paper, ribbon, twine, etc to match projects.
- Little Women 12 x 12 Paper Pad
- Window Shadow Box
- Antique Metal Door Pull
- Antique Brass Claw Legs (currently out of stock – expected back by April 2018)
Other Supplies:
- Random Metals, Flowers, Floral Leaves, Spools, Epherema, Bird, Beads, Door Handle, Boot
- May Arts Ribbon
- Scallop Border Punch
- Doily Die
- Xyron Creative Station and Permanent Adhesive
- Pop Dots
Directions:

Cover Graphic 45 Window Shadow Box with pattern paper and scallop border strips.

Adhere fussy cut images to 8 ½” square pattern paper.

Place prepared paper inside of prepared Window Shadow Box.

Add die cut doily to back of window.

Fussy cut images from pattern paper. Decorate window box with images, flowers, metals, spools, Epherema, leaves, etc.

Create a hidden diary and add to window box.

Add ribbon bow and flowers to side of Window Shadow Box.

Finish your Do Something Shadow Box by adding a few more flowers and claw legs.

Tip: The Graphic 45 Rectangle Tag & Pocket Album (6” x 8” x 3”) fits perfectly in the Staples Collection Deep Pocket Rectangle Matchbook Box. Just remember to occasionally check as you work on your pages that your album isn’t getting too thick for the box to close. Also, keep the cover of the album flat and put all the embellishments on the lid of the box.
