We were all shocked with the heartbreaking news of Kavitha‘s passing. We are honored to have had the privilege of getting to know Kavi and getting to share her incredible talents and inspiring projects. It is so hard to lose someone so full of life, talent, kindness, and beauty. Today, we post this blog in memory of Graphic 45 Brand Ambassador, Kavitha. Join us in celebrating her life and her work.
Kavitha shared these words about her life with us when she joined our team for a second term. We thought it would only be fitting to share today.
“I love creating and the creative process of bringing ideas to life. Crafting has been my main hobby since childhood and i feel blessed to have my hobby as profession.
My niche is coloring and painting though I love to explore different forms of arts and crafts. Being in India which is rich in different forms of arts and culture i have plentiful of options to explore. I am more into making albums and cards and love making layered/detailed projects. I have to confess i am a huge paper hoarder, especially graphic 45 papers are my favorite and i have been collecting them for past five years.”

Today I have an adorable project to share using the very gorgeous Fairie Wings collection. Angels and flowers are my absolute favorites. I really wanted to make something magical so after a lot of contemplation, I decided to make a mini circular book with magical garden compositions. It doesn’t have to be useful all the time right? Sometimes we just have to make art for our pleasure, so instead of a scrapbook, I made this into a fairy book that I can just keep for myself to see and enjoy.” See full post here.

Thank you for joining us today for this blog of remembrance and celebration. We are so grateful we got to know the amazing Kavitha. We continue to mourn with all of you who mourn and we are so thankful for the light she brought to all of our lives. Rest in peace Kavitha.

So sorry to hear this. Her projects were always so beautiful and perfectly crafted.
Dearest Kavitha, you have been an inspiration to me in life as well as in my creative process. I am looking forward to meeting you someday in the special nook I believe we can get to once we leave this earth that is nothing less than a crafter/artist paradise! There we will create and share stories and be true companions. Thank you for the years of artistic creation and inspiration.
